President Joe Biden has once again made a move that has contradicted his own previous policies when it comes to a liberal pet project, and people are taking notice.
The current president made a fuss and feud about how former President Donald Trump treated the COVID-19 outbreak. He claimed that the former president was reckless, unfocused, and generally killed so many Americans he wasn’t fit for office.

Some of the numerous ways in which the former president was supposedly to blame centered around his lack of discouragement for those who were healthy from gathering in groups. However, one thing that the president did do, that liberals were fuming about, was at the first sign of trouble, shut down international travel.
Well, there’s nothing that cuts off the lifeblood of a liberal more than their ability to import new voters as soon as their old new ones wise up to the toxic and devastating effects of Democrat policies.
To that end, Biden released a statement declaring that he is suspending the Trump policy that ebbed the flow of immigrants into the United States due to COVID-19:
“The suspension of entry imposed in Proclamation 10014 of April 22, 2020 (Suspension of Entry of Immigrants Who Present a Risk to the United States Labor Market During the Economic Recovery Following the 2019 Novel Coronavirus Outbreak), as extended by section 1 of Proclamation 10052 of June 22, 2020 (Suspension of Entry of Immigrants and Nonimmigrants Who Present a Risk to the United States Labor Market During the Economic Recovery Following the 2019 Novel Coronavirus Outbreak), and section 1 of Proclamation 10131 of December 31, 2020 (Suspension of Entry of Immigrants and Nonimmigrants Who Continue To Present a Risk to the United States Labor Market During the Economic Recovery Following the 2019 Novel Coronavirus Outbreak), does not advance the interests of the United States,” Biden’s proclamation read.
“To the contrary, it harms the United States, including by preventing certain family members of United States citizens and lawful permanent residents from joining their families here. It also harms industries in the United States that utilize talent from around the world. And it harms individuals who were selected to receive the opportunity to apply for, and those who have likewise received, immigrant visas through the Fiscal Year 2020 Diversity Visa Lottery. “Proclamation 10014 has prevented these individuals from entering the United States, resulting, in some cases, in the delay and possible forfeiture of their opportunity to receive Fiscal Year 2020 diversity visas and to realize their dreams in the United States.”
Translation: don’t cut off the people who have families in the United States, even if they haven’t been tested for COVID-19, and even if they don’t yet have the path to citizenship, just don’t stop the flow of immigrants!
“NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States, by the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including sections 212(f) and 215(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, 8 U.S.C. 1182(f) and 1185(a), hereby find that the unrestricted entry into the United States of persons described in section 1 of Proclamation 10014 is not detrimental to the interests of the United States.”
The rest was legal jargon that you can read here if you’re so inclined, but essentially it stated that the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Labor, and the Secretary of Homeland Security were being given reign to once again open the flood gates to those who wish to enter, health and wellness of legal Americans notwithstanding.
However, the curious thing about this particular order is that while if you went looking you could certainly find the place on WhiteHouse.gov where executive orders and proclamations live, it’s usually something used by those in the media who want to get information straight from the horse’s mouth, so to speak. But this one, this one was trending. Not just the story, the actual White House link, with the whole kit and kaboodle, legalese included, was trending. It’s almost as if America collectively said, “He did what?? Let me see that!” And so they saw, once again, a contradiction by a Democrat, proving that their policies are about self-interest, not about the interest of the American people.
