Since 2012 when the U.S. government stated its charges against Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind behind the 9/11 attack, he and his four accomplices have been rotting in their cells at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay. The prison currently houses 39 terrorists, with Mohammed and his crew considered as the most dangerous and violent offenders.
The last hearing involving the case took place in Feb 2020 but now they’re getting one more shot at pleading for mercy. Mohammed will be joined in court by his best buds, Walid Muhammad Salih Mubarak Bin ‘Attash, Ramzi Bin al-Shibh, Ali Abdul Aziz Ali, and Mustafa Ahmed Adam al Hawsawi.
Should the final verdict at long last be issued, just as the five have lived together, they could likely die together if their death sentences are handed down. Just in case this happens Allah is busy rounding up 350 new wives for the Muslim martyrs who murdered all those people who don’t believe he’s real.
All five are facing charges of “terrorism, hijacking aircraft, conspiracy, murder in violation of the law of war, attacking civilians, attacking civilian objects, intentionally causing serious bodily injury, and destruction of property in violation of the law of war.”

Since 2020 the ongoing trial has been on hold due to COVID-19, and since 2012 when the trials began, four different judges have presided over the case. The newest judge to hold the gavel is Air Force Col. Matthew N. McCall.
Since the new trial is set to begin only one week prior to the 20th anniversary of the twin towers coming down, several families of victims are making the trip to Guantanamo to sit in observance.
Joe Biden said he plans to close GITMO by the end of his term so this could be the final showdown for the five. GITMO came under intense scrutiny some time ago for using torture techniques such as waterboarding. Just recently a Morrocan prisoner was turned over to Morrocan authorities after spending 20 years in U.S. custody in Guantanamo. This could be an indication of wanting to vacate the premises sooner than later.
The case has been on again off again for too many years. Obama threw a wrench in the spokes when he stopped the trial from proceeding altogether. He said he was planning on closing GITMO and needed time to figure out what to do with all of these guys.
Obama caught a truckload of political manure for his poor decision and finally caved in by leaving the facility open. With the pandemic, Afghanistan, rioting in the streets of America, the border crisis, and on and on, Donald Trump kinda had an overflowing plate and was forced to lower GITMOs priority through no fault of his own. He knew where they were and he also knew they weren’t going anywhere, and he had no plans of closing the place anyway. So…
The five terrorists have attempted to defend their case on the grounds of the illegal torture they claim to have been subjected to. Though nary an American citizen would have objected to using it on these turban-headed thugs, the government says it ain’t so. It never happened. Well… It may have… Just not at GITMO.
Before being transferred to the U.S. facility in Guantanamo, the terrorists were being held in “black sites.” These sites are located in undisclosed locations worldwide and are not always under full U.S. control if there is any control at all. So maybe they were tortured and maybe they weren’t, but either way, the U.S. didn’t do it, and we don’t care one way or the other if it did happen.
With Obamas ‘Mini-Me’ wanting to pick back up where his former boss left off in terms of closing the facility, look for the trial to start accelerating its pace. But while every red-blooded patriot would like to see these cats publicly executed on their wide screens, the outcome isn’t guaranteed.
Realistically the original trial should have lasted one morning and they should have all been hung later that same day, but here in America, we play this game called politics. On one side, liberals believe everyone is entitled to a fair trial even if they willfully killed 2,996 innocent people and were disappointed that the casualty number wasn’t higher.
It’s because of these liberals that the trial these cold-blooded killers weren’t entitled to in the first place didn’t end when it should have, a long time ago. With the Biden Administration falling within this same candy-ass category, but still wanting to close GITMO, it’ll be interesting to watch which way the wind blows.
All we can say is that if Biden doesn’t pull up his big boy diaper and squash the parasites once and for all, he may be in for some trouble. To close Guantanamo Bay these guys would either need to receive the final death penalty or God help us, be returned from whence they came. There are but two options.
