By now, it’s pretty common knowledge that Black Lives Matter, better known as BLM, is a pretty radical group with some pretty out there and un-American ideas. And nothing proves that more than their latest attempt to demand that America change to fit its narrative and will.
And when I say “demand,” I mean just that. In fact, according to the organization’s website, they have even constructed a list of demands that America must meet for them to happy – as if we really care what they want.
So what are they demanding now?

At the top of their list is a demand titled “Convict and ban Trump from future political office.”
The demand is further explained, saying that the organization is joining with key Democratic congressional members, all of whom just happen to be part of the liberal and near socialistic squad, “demanding Trump be immediately convicted in the United States Senate” and “also be banned from holding elected office in the future.”
Now, forgive me if I’m wrong here, but didn’t House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her cohorts already try this once? I might add that they failed, and miserably so.
So what makes BLM think a run in the US Senate, where the margin of majority for Dems is the slimmest it can be, will be any different?
Nevertheless, the group is determined to get this done, and that is precisely why it is asking all of its members to demand such consideration from their representatives in Washington.
The second demand is much like the first; only instead of being about Trump, its focus is on any congressional member who supported Trump.
It reads, “Expel Republican members of Congress who attempted to overturn the election and incited a white supremacist attack.” And, of course, once these 150 some odd GOP members are ousted from office, BLM wants to, just like with Trump, make sure they can never hold office again.
But of course, that’s far the end of their list or the crazy going on in their brains.
The next demand unsurprisingly has to do with the Capitol incursion and the BLM spread belief that Capitol Police somehow conspired with white supremacists to begin coup. Therefore, the group wants America to launch a “full investigation” into the matter and the “systemic failures in the United States Capitol security.”
The fourth demand goes back to Trump. It quite simply states that the former president be “banned from all digital media platforms.”
And, once again, I feel compelled to point out that is nearly the case already.
Twitter has essentially banned him. Facebook has suspended his account. And basically, any other social media platform out there has pretty much followed their lead, censoring his every word, post, picture, etc.
But clearly, that’s not enough for BLM. They want every trace and possible communication from the man erased – and for good.
And what would a BLM list of demands be without a good ol’ “defund the police” push?
That’s, naturally, what the fifth demand is.
According to the group, the police have always posed a threat to black and brown communities, all while encouraging white supremacist action.
But they want to make sure that as police are defunded, new laws and regulations won’t be formed that might limit their ability to keep terrorizing the US when they feel like it. And no, I’m not kidding.
Enter the sixth demand:
“Don’t let the coup be used as an excuse to crack down on our movement,” explicitly using the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2021. The group claims that laws like this, which were designed to prevent and investigate acts of domestic terrorism, including white supremacy, is being “used to target Black and brown communities for heightened surveillance.”
I know, it’s all completely ridiculous.
But the final demand might be the craziest yet.
It goes back to defunding the police but takes it just a step further by demanding that the “BREATHE Act” be passed. This requires acceptance of the idea that law enforcement was “born out of slave patrols.” No matter that the roots of policing can be traced back to Augustus Caesar’s “cohorts urbanae,” which sought to prevent and punish crime in Rome.
BLM claims that because the very idea of police is racist, it can’t just be defunded or “reformed.” Instead, there must be a “new, radical approach to public safety and community investment.”
