Any threat to CNN and the people who work there go insane. After their abysmal failure with CNN+, they are desperate to remain relevant and to keep their dwindling audience. Rather than generate real journalism they are just using it to go after people like Elon Musk for choosing to keep expanding their wealth and knowledge by reinvesting in other companies. It’s not a smart move for him to take all that power away from the Democrats.
CNN doesn’t want to see true open-source materials and algorithms. They don’t want to see shadow banning eliminated so everyone has the same voice. So for analyst, David Zurawik to go on this kind of rant while on with Reliable Sources is rather short-sighted given how much we have lacked a free voice as Americans for some time.

He went on to explain that he thinks the US can and should emulate the attempts to limit the free voice like they do in Eastern Europe. This is extremely problematic for America as well as for CNN. Musk can own Twitter and make it open for people. To tell them that he won’t censor people from saying what they want to say is a brilliant way to curry favor with the everyday citizen.

That’s what scares the people most, losing their free voice. Even if they don’t realize it. Their morals that tell them that it’s ok to just point fingers at others’ beliefs are the same ones that others need to obey soon realize that they need that same free voice to tell someone they are wrong. This area becomes a slippery slope, and when we started blocking any speech we made it very bad as it was. Now the more you censor the speech the worse it becomes.
When even people like Hilary Clinton are using Twitter to spread her wishes for censorship, you know there is a massive problem. “For too long, tech platforms have amplified disinformation and extremism with no accountability. If this woman is behind anything you know it’s corrupt. She has been caught lying, cheating, and deceiving the American people more than any other lawyer or politician combined. Yet she somehow stays in the limelight after her husband was chased away for being the same kind of filth monger the liberal cancel culture most often attacks. Yet they somehow give him and many other leftists give one another passes as it’s just a part of doing business, or they just did what they had to do to reach their people.
