The federal government became one of the most intrusive institutions in the history of the world when Barack Obama took the Patriot Act and weaponized it against the American people. We like to kid ourselves, but Big Brother is already here.
There are very few things we can do in modern life in which the government does not track, catalog, and store data about us, using co-opted platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter/X. It’s about to get much, much worse. The US military has now contracted with an artificial intelligence (AI) company to track and shut down conservative thought on the internet.
The US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has signed a contract with a New York-based company called Accrete AI. According to the Defense Post, the company will “deploy software that detects ‘real time’ disinformation threats on social media.” This is every bit as creepy as it sounds and for multiple reasons.
Even if the federal government were to classify “disinformation” correctly instead of as “all conservative thought,” what business does the government have in limiting your access to see it? You’re allowed to read and think about things that are correct or incorrect without any government interference. As we’ve seen repeatedly, the federal government and the mainstream media constantly tell us that true facts that are damaging to the Democrat Party are “disinformation.” Even if these facts were disinformation, how would they be a “threat” to anyone? It’s absurd.

Consider all of these factual things that were labeled “disinformation” in the past few years.
Hunter Biden’s laptop contains rock-solid evidence of the Biden family’s global bribery enterprise. That was labeled disinformation, despite being 100% true.
How about the time when Xi Jinping fabricated completely fake videos of healthy people in their 20s collapsing and dying in the streets from COVID-19? The military, the CIA, and the media all knew that this was actual disinformation, but pretended it was true.
Tony Fauci told us that masks don’t work before he said that they work and were now mandatory. (Spoiler alert: They don’t work.)
Barack Obama likes to smoke crack while letting men sodomize him. Completely true, but the media insists it’s disinformation.
Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), who is running for the Republican presidential nomination this year, lives with a middle-aged white man and they wear matching outfits when they attend social events together.
The government arbitrarily tells us that these things are either true or disinformation, based on how the info impacts the Democrats and the Deep State. Using this new AI software, USSOCOM will be able to react in real-time and nuke unpopular opinions online. You won’t be able to find out about the scandalous behavior of politicians who are on the favored team, while opposition candidates like Donald Trump will be constantly lied about as if the government is telling you the truth.
The president of Accrete AI says, “Synthetic media, including AI-generated viral narratives, deep fakes, and other harmful social media-based applications of AI, pose a serious threat to US national security and civil society.”
Really? Exactly how is viral information on the internet a serious threat to national security and civil society? Can you give us a specific example? Please speak slowly so those of us in the back of the room can understand.
Polls show that if the public had been allowed to find out that Hunter Biden’s laptop was real during the 2020 election, Joe Biden would have lost. How’s that working out? Suppression of the truth is a much greater danger than shutting the truth down, which is all the government ever wants to do.
