Americans face the possibility that they could soon be living in an entirely different world after the reigns of power are handed over to former Vice President Joe Biden, but one of the most stinging blows for Christian conservatives is the issue of life and death.

According to a report in Newsmax, Biden is already making plans to undo the protections put in place by the Trump administration for the unborn in a sweeping “reproductive rights” extravaganza that would facilitate the deaths of tens of thousands of unborn, if not millions.

“We have a ton of work to do to undo the harm over the last four years, but knowing we have champions there who understand what needs to happen in the first 100 days is tremendously exciting,” said Alexis McGill Johnson, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood according to NBC News.

Pro-lifers are speaking up about what can be done to protect the unborn. However, the Democrat deck is stacked against a minority party not in control of the White House.

“It’s certainly disheartening, but we aren’t going to give up, and we will do whatever we can to stop abortion from being promoted,” said Carol Tobias, president of the National Right to Life Committee, who said she expects a wave of abortion restrictions at the state level this year according to NBC News.

One of the particularly appreciated rules that Trump helped to enact had to do with religious exemptions for contraceptives. The mandate allowed an employer with a religious or moral objection to birth control to be exempt from paying for such a service for employees, and the decision was upheld by the Supreme Court upheld the exemptions in the case Little Sisters of the Poor v. Pennsylvania.

That decision didn’t sit well with the ACLU:

“Although everyone has a right to their religious beliefs, those beliefs should never be used to discriminate against others, including by taking away their health insurance coverage. No one should be denied birth control coverage because of where they work or where they go to school,” said Georgeanne Usova, senior legislative counsel at the American Civil Liberties Union.

Podcaster and activist Aliya Mathesen posted about Biden’s plans saying, “If you call yourself a Christian and you voted for this man, shame on you. Seriously.” Responses to her post echoed disgust among Christian conservatives who consider conservative support of the potential dictator to be a betrayal of the sanctity of human life, calling the president-elect “evil” and “vile.”

“Agreed! I stopped going to the church I’ve went to for 4 years bc of this. I just can’t do it. This man is evil,” commented one person. “I’m so ashamed of so many ppl who say their christians…but literally vouched for biden,” said another commenter.

“He is in favor of child murder all the way up until birth and in some cases, even after birth,” said one blunt contributor. “No Christian can in good conscience vote for such a man or the current democratic platform.” A third said of Biden that “He’s a puppet of the devil.”

“So many votes for him out of hate for another man. Completely leaving their morals at the voting door. We truly need God back in this country,” said another. “Many have abandoned him and they don’t even realize it.”

One frustrated social media user put it succinctly, asking, “God eliminated the Israelites because they sacrificed their children to molech! How much more will God eliminate Americans for sacrificing their children for convenience?!”
